Our roots...
Hélène and Werner von Siebenthal opened the guesthouse Hornberg – with 24 beds – in the winter of 1936/37. Thanks to their warm-hearted hospitality, the little hotel soon became a meeting place dominated by an atmosphere of open-door friendliness, a spirit that has remained the cornerstone of the hotel’s philosophy ever since. In 1970, Elisabeth and Peter von Siebenthal-Wild, the second generation, assumed the responsability and in 2003 it was passed on to the third generation, Brigitte and Christian Hoefliger-von Siebenthal.
